Study Breaks

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to study amidst the "dreaming spires" of Oxford? Why not join KBCTC students for a week of stimulating lectures and enjoy the best of all that Oxford has to offer...

Beginning in September with foundation courses in Biblical Interpretation and introductions to the Old and New Testaments, our Study Breaks offer you a tremendous opportunity to grow in your understanding of the Word of God. Choose your course from the range of subjects listed here.

Most modules vary in length between three and five days, starting on a Monday morning. Lectures begin at 9am daily and formally finish at 12:45pm. You would then be very welcome to bring a packed lunch and join students and lecturers for further informal discussion.

Summer Term - April to July

	19 - 20 May \| 1 Corinthians \| £30 Wisdom, unity, the Spirit, sexual ethics, community, the Lord’s supper, the resurrection of the body: 1 Corinthians has it all. Join Dave Perry for an introduction to this fascinating epistle of Paul which continues to instruct and inspire Christians in their faith and conduct today.
	9-11 June \| Special Guest - Darrell Johnson \| £50 Darrell Johnson is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Regent College, Vancouver. Acclaimed author (‘Discipleship on the Edge’ and ‘57 Words that Change the World’) and preacher Darrell teaches in the areas of biblical spirituality, worship and prayer and brings a wealth of wisdom and cultural experiences. 	16-18 June \| What about other faiths? \| £50 A Jewish Christian, a veteran missionary to Muslims and a former lecturer at All Nations Christian College, author Martin Goldsmith maps how we can understand other faiths – and impact the nations for Christ.
