Application Info
NEWSFLASH - 17/08/10
For those who want to apply this for September: If you are a UK or EU student and have not previously been to university you need to apply by 11am THIS FRIDAY (20th Aug) to obtain a place on our validated Certificate HE course. This means you will graduate from KBCTC with 120 credits and a formal qualification. If you already have a degree or are from outside the EU the deadline does not apply, and we can take your applications right until the end of August.
We are sorry that the deadline comes at such short notice, it has been imposed by our partner University. You may have heard about the cap on university places imposed by the government. It means the University needs to finalise all places for those eligible for student funding by the end of the clearing process.
A Second Option: If you are affected but have missed the deadline it is still possible to attend the course but you will not be enrolled as a Certificate HE student. Instead you would be awarded a KBCTC internal award, which doesn’t carry an official qualification. Other than this your experience at the college would be identical to your classmates. If this affects you please get in touch and we can advise further.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2010-11 academic year starting in September and at the time of writing have a number of rooms in college houses available for this autumn.
If you are wanting to apply please:
1. Download the application form here or request one by post.
2. Fill in the application form.
3. Post in your application and application fee (see here) to: Admissions, KBCTC, The Kings Centre, Osney Mead, Oxford, OX2 0ES, United Kingdom. We will then contact your references and contact you when your application has been processed.
Formal academic qualifications do not form part of our entry requirements. We do expect you however to have a good command and comprehension of written and spoken English.
International Applicants
We look forward to receiving a good number of students each year from overseas. We strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible so that we can process your application in good time and help you to prepare for your time here. You will need to obtain a student visa to study in the UK.
