	27-29 Sep \| In The Beginning...Pentateuch \| Dave Perry \| £50 KBCTC Dean of Theology Dave Perry begins at the beginning; tracing threads of God's purposes through the lives of key people and a chosen community as they come to terms with God's grand design. Dave navigates the incredible story of God and His people through the interwoven themes of Covenant, Justice, Government, and the Nature of the God who won't turn his back on his people. Choose this study break if: You want to see something of God's Big Picture in the earliest books of the Bible.
	04-07 Oct \| Old Testament Story: Joshua - 2 Chronicles \| Mike Beaumont \| £60 Oxford-based Bible teacher, author and broadcaster Mike Beaumont leads us through the story of the people of God as they settle in the Promised Land and build a community that demonstrates God's character to the nations. Choose this study break if: The story of Israel is a bit of a mystery and you get lost amongst all the kings, prophets and baal-worship.
	11-15 Nov \| Wisdom and Psalms \| Simon Shaw, Gaynor Shaw & Mary Hippsley \| £70 Placed centrally in the Bible, the Psalms model the way we can live worshipfully whatever our emotional state, whilst the oft-overlooked wisdom literature reveals the everyday centrality of God who is truly wise. KBCTC Principal Simon Shaw, Gaynor Shaw and Mary Hippsley help us explore the important role poetry plays in shaping the way we think, live and respond to life's challenges and celebrations. 	18-22 Oct \| The Prophetic Voice \| Tony Gray \| £70 There is a call of God on us to be set apart as a prophetic generation! Former KBCTC Principal Tony Gray will be joining us for this exciting course which will consider the nature of Biblical prophets, their message and the place of prophecy today. Come and have your Prophetic Imagination awakened. Choose this study break if: You want to be inspired by prophecy and to learn to live prophetically.
	01-03 Nov \| New Testament Background \| Mary Hippsley \| £50 Mary Hippsley sets the scene for the arrival of Jesus in the New Testament by exploring the Jewish culture of the time and the state of the society that shaped the NT authors. Providing hugely valuable insight into the context and character of first century Palestine into which the NT was written, Mary gives us some tools to help us understand how to approach this foundational text. Choose this study break if: You wonder what difference it makes that Jesus was Jewish or that the Romans were in charge.
	08-10 Nov \| Romans and New Testament Exegesis \| Phil Norris \| £50 Phil Norris, leader of Basingstoke Community Churches, opens up Paul's letter to the church in Rome. Viewed by many as the most significant book in Christian history the book of Romans explores the significance of Christ's sacrificial death in which Paul records the most systematic presentation of doctrine in the Bible. Phil will also be teaching the very practical skills of exegesis - learning how to dig deeper into the texts of the New Testament. Choose this study break if: Romans is unfamiliar territory, 'doctrine' is a scary word, or you'd like to learn how to go deeper in biblical study.
