Location

Oxford, also known as the "City of Dreaming Spires", is famous the world over for its University and place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and since the 9th century an established town, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years.

Nowadays, Oxford is a bustling cosmopolitan city, with its ancient University, but home also to a growing hi-tech community.

With its mix of ancient and modern, there is plenty for both the tourist and resident to do. Whether it's visiting one of the many historic buildings, colleges or museums, going out for a drink or a meal, taking in a show or shopping till you drop, Oxford has it all.

Established in 1983 as a ministry of the Salt & Light family of churches, KBCTC moved to Oxford in 2001. A beautiful historic city with a reputation for academic excellence, our location in Oxford places us firmly at the centre of a rich tradition of biblical engagement. From the earliest efforts of Wycliffe and Tyndale to place the Bible into the hands of every Christian, we continue to help our students read as the text was originally meant to be read.

Oxford is about 80 kilometres from London (Heathrow) airport and further from Gatwick, Luton and Stansted airports, the sea ports and the city of London.
